The Latest Technologies & Techniques for Posterior Segment Visualization of Surgeries

During this live webinar, Dr. Kakarla Chalam and Dr. Manish Nagpal will discuss techniques and technologies that are used to maximize the surgeon’s view of the posterior segment during retinal surgeries. Dr. Chalam will cover the fundamental concepts of viewing during retinal surgery, the pros and cons of contact versus non-contact systems, the proper setup of operating room, and overall staff orientation. Dr. Nagpal will cover achieving good visualization with contact systems, wide field viewing, high magnification macular viewing for different indications, and tips on achieving good viewing via small pupils.
